We are hiring in Bronx, NY! Join us at Easterseals Story Ave for an exciting career as a Physical Therapist! (10 month position)

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist you will work as a member of the team of teachers, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists and counselors to provide physical therapy services to young children in a school environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Develop IEPs with other team members and families.

Maintain professional standards, and current skills in therapy techniques.

Provide physical therapy services for children.

Write session notes, progress notes and reports addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.

Aid in maintaining equipment and workspace.

Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as assigned.

Assist in staff development and training.

Assist in program planning and development.

You're a great fit for this role if you have:

Doctorate from a physical therapy school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or associate's degree as a physical therapy assistant.

Current license in the State of New York.

Three years' experience working with young children as a physical therapist preferred.

Compensation:

$65,000- 90,000 (depending on credentials and experience)
