JOB SUMMARY: Fellows will support the UTMB Network Operations Team while gaining hands-on experience through rotations across multiple ITS functional areas, preparing them for a successful transition from student to employee.

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

Delivers end user reports within specified timeframes throughout campus.

Monitors and operates printing and microfiche hardware under supervision.

Performs routine maintenance on printing and microfiche hardware under supervision.

Logs and reports all problems.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business/Finance, or Healthcare from an accredited college or university. Degree must be earned before the fellowship start date. No experience required.

EQUIPMENT: Data processing equipment.

*UTMB Healthcare Systems Staffing is the in-house staffing agency for UTMB. There are no benefits associated with this position, with the exception of the 401k retirement plan.

Compensation

Hiring Range: $22.50
