Industrial Electrician - Macon, IL

This is a full-time, non-exempt position

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This position is focused on industrial environments such as plants, facilities, and heavy equipment sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently in demanding industrial settings.

Position Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment

Perform conduit running (EMT, rigid, and PVC) in industrial environments

Troubleshoot electrical systems, machinery, motors, and control circuits

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line drawings

Install and terminate panels, disconnects, MCCs, motors, and industrial lighting

Work safely around live equipment, machinery, and production areas

Follow all site-specific safety procedures and company policies

Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other trades

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of industrial electrical experience

Proven ability with conduit running and electrical troubleshooting

Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Must have own basic hand tools

Preferred (Not Required):

Experience with motors, VFDs, PLCs, or control panels

Plant maintenance or heavy industrial construction experience

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$59,000.00 - $108,000.00
