Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Kapolei, Hawaii. This role involves managing key accounting processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in month-end close procedures, reconciliations, and audit preparation. To apply for this role, please call us at 808-531-8056. Responsibilities:

Oversee month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.

Prepare and review account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

Compile and maintain audit schedules to support external audits.

Generate and analyze financial reports to assist in decision-making.

Utilize Yardi software to manage accounting operations efficiently.

Process expense reports and invoices using Concur.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting procedures.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.

Proficiency in month-end close and reconciliation processes.

Strong knowledge of audit preparation and compliance requirements.

Hands-on experience with Yardi and Concur systems.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
