Director of Finance

Location: Johnstown, PA

Salary: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: Day Shift: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm

What will you be doing?

Provide strategic financial leadership to ensure the organization's financial integrity, sustainability, and compliance, while partnering with executive leadership to support informed decision-making and long-term growth.

Assisting with the supervision of fiscal records management of the organization and reviewing financial statements in coordination with the President.

Maintaining employee, customer, and vendor information, including in the associated database and general ledger.

Managing the payroll process to ensure accurate and confidential business practices.

Completing employee benefit reports and issuing associated payments.

Maintaining and monitoring customer accounts for credit verifications and delinquencies.

Generating and maintaining all reports required by the IRS, Social Security, Bureau of Unemployment Security, State Department of Revenue, and all other governmental and non-governmental agencies. Preparing additional reports as required by the President.

Reviewing and approving payment of invoices.

Preparing and analyzing month ending reports as required by the President.

Supporting the maintenance of cash and investment accounts with a variety of financial institutions.

Maintaining accurate insurance coverage through various agencies in coordination with the Vice President of Finance and the President.

Preparing the annual budget in coordination with the Vice President of Finance for review by the President and Board of Directors.

Facilitating audits as directed by the President.

Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information on electronic devices to include, but not limited to, work computer, mobile device, printer, copier, etc.

Confidential and sensitive information pertaining to the company and its employees is to be treated with the highest level of professionalism, respect and care.

Attending social/recreational activities as required to supervise and assist handicapped clients.

Performing all other duties as directed by the President or the Vice President of Finance.

What are the Job Requirements?

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.

4 years related experience.

Leadership experience required.

Clearances Required: Drug screen, Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and FBI Fingerprints.

Other Requirements: Valid Driver's License, Valid Auto Insurance, copy of High School Diploma and college transcripts.
