Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team on a part-time, long-term contract basis in the Kissimmee, Florida area. This part-time position requires expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger coding, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and tracking payments.

Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Accurately code invoices and ensure proper allocation to general ledger accounts.

Assist with the preparation of billing functions and maintain organized financial records.

Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Collaborate with team members to support overall financial operations.

Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Address inquiries related to accounting procedures and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Strong knowledge of general ledger coding and invoice management.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.

Familiarity with billing functions and financial record-keeping.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
