Job Description
We are seeking a results-oriented senior finance leader who will serve as a trusted and strategic partner to our Sales and Marketing Leaders of Global Consumer. In this critical role, you will transform complex go-to-market strategies into actionable financial plans that enable sustainable, profitable growth for a global brand that powers the digital world. Success int this position requires a combination of strategic vision, rigorous financial discipline, and the ability to influence executive decisions through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate embraces a growth mindset, thrives in ambiguity, and excels in fast-paced, evolving environments. Strong leadership skills, a proven ability to drive change, and a track record of building high-performing teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Serve as the primary finance partner for Global Consumer Sales and Marketing VPs.
Provide strategic guidance on headcount planning, territory design, outlet expansion and marketing investments mix
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Lead long-term strategic planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting for the Sales and Marketing organizations.
Ensure alignment across sales incentives, marketing spending and overall corporate financial objectives
Develop analytical tools and frameworks to support strategic decision making and monitor execution, delivering proactive solutions.
Evaluate ROI for marketing campaigns and sales initiatives
Collaborate with Sales Operations to design and validate incentive plans that motivate and drive desired behaviors while maintaining budget integrity.
Operational Excellence:
Champion process improvements through automation and simplification
Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly business reviews that go beyond reporting numbers to explain underlying drivers
Team Development:
Oversee the Global Consumer Sales & Marketing Finance Function
Lead, mentor and develop high-performing finance team
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Significant experience (10+ years) in a publicly held finance organization, with a proven track record of driving profitability and delivering results, ideally in the technology, consumer electronics, or semiconductor sector. ?
Expertise in process improvement, with hands-on experience implementing financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and leading transformative change initiatives. ?
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for SanDisk's executive leadership. ?
Strong leadership presence, with a track record of mentoring diverse, high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. ?
Highly analytical and metric-driven, with proficiency in modern financial tools (e.g., BI platforms, data visualization, or predictive analytics). ?
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a high-growth, innovation-focused technology environment. ?
MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred; equivalent experience in finance leadership considered.

An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Sandisk's Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
