(PSFM), a growing and busy Sports Medicine and Family Practice is seeking qualified medical professionals - Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to join our care team.WHO WE NEED: We are looking for talented, friendly, and energetic CMA's to join the PSFM family. This is an ideal position for a new grad or someone looking to re-enter the workforce.Both Full Time & Part Time (evenings & Saturday 8am-12pm) positions available.WHY PSFM: We strive to provide a concierge patient care experience, and we are fantastic at doing it. We offer: Competitive compensation: depending on experience and CMA up to $23.50/hour depending on experience $250 Hiring Bonus payable after 120 days of continued employment Health Benefits - Medical / Dental / Vision 401K with a generous 4% company match Paid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Time Bank Fantastic Growth potential Weekly Lunch & Learn sessions, and much more!!!Please respond with a Covering Letter & Resume and provide an email address and/or phone number where you can be contacted.WHAT YOU'LL DO: Help our medical providers provide a top tier patient care experience Prepare patient for examination by verifying patient information, recording medical history, confirming purpose of the visit, performing vitals and preliminary physical tests, and administering injections. Save provider's time by helping with office procedures as requested. Counsel patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about treatment. Pre-certify diagnostics procedures and communicate instructions to patients. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures. Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock and requesting new supplies. Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Serve and protect the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. Enhance the practice's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. What You Should Have: CMA License (or pending) Familiarity with eClinicalWorks and/or other EMR systems is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA or MIPS is an asset.
