Job Title: Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and transferring seasonal candies, gummies, and chocolates to assigned warehouse locations. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy and preparing shipments for secure transport.

Responsibilities

Transfer finished goods to assigned warehouse locations and update inventory records.

Operate material handling equipment such as sit down forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand trucks.

Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory to verify inventory accuracy.

Operate stretch wrap equipment to prepare loads for secure shipment.

Load and unload trailers, delivery trucks, and pallets safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

2+ years of forklift experience.

2+ years of warehouse experience.

Ability to operate sit down forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

Experience with loading, unloading, and order picking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with GMP environment.

Work Environment

Work the 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, in a GMP environment. The dress code includes wearing a hair net, beard net, smocks, and steel-toed shoes. The environment can be colder in the candy cooling room, while other areas remain tepid.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
