Our client, a leading higher education institution, is seeking a HR Assistant to join their team. As a HR Assistant, you will be part of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: New York, NY 10003

Pay Range: $25-35

What's the Job?

Perform a wide range of administrative duties of a confidential nature to support HR operations.

Assist with appointment and payment processes for administrators, staff, faculty, and students to ensure accurate and timely compensation.

Review information for accuracy and completeness.

Assist with faculty, administrator, and staff recruitment tasks.

Create and maintain databases, complex spreadsheets, and other tracking tools to support HR functions.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree required.

At least 3 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist in a professional setting, including knowledge of recruiting, talent management, HR administration, and payroll processing.

Knowledge of basic HR concepts, practices, and procedures.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
