Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Everett, Washington. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts payable processes, with the ability to handle a high volume of transactions efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage vendor payables, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Handle invoice coding and reconciliation for a high volume of transactions weekly.

Utilize software tools such as Tipalti and Ramp to streamline accounts payable workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and address discrepancies.

Assist in developing and implementing efficient workflows and procedures for the accounts payable team.

Manage credit card payments and resolve any issues related to vendor transactions.

Perform data analysis using Excel tools such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all accounts payable activities.

Support the onboarding of suppliers and manage vendor-related documentation.

Provide guidance and mentorship to entry level team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Proficiency in accounts payable software, preferably Tipalti or Ramp.

Strong knowledge of invoice coding, reconciliation, and vendor payment processes.

Ability to handle high transaction volumes, processing 200+ invoices weekly.

Experience with Excel tools such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks.

Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with departments.

Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and vendor management.
