Job Duties: The position involves performing all tasks associated with grain harvesting, including daily safety checks on tools and equipment to ensure proper operation. Workers must be able to operate a two-way radio and fire extinguisher for potential field fire situations, and the job requires extensive physical activity such as stooping, bending, walking, and lifting or unloading 50--90 pounds. Responsibilities also include tarping loads, washing, cleaning, and waxing equipment, while maintaining respect for all property, equipment, and individuals. The worker may assist with transporting fertilizer to fields by operating trucks and must be free of allergies that could interfere with hay or grain field work.
