Job Title: Warehouse Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk who will be responsible for performing clerical duties, including communication with customers and drivers, as well as handling inventory and shipping tasks.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with customers and drivers to ensure smooth operations.

Perform picking and packing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Check bills of lading (BOLs) and driver documents for completeness and correctness.

Handle inventory management tasks using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word.

Use RF scanners and FedEx systems for shipping and receiving processes.

Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

Maintain attention to detail while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

Experience in clerical duties, including customer and driver communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with shipping and receiving tasks.

Material handling knowledge.

Familiarity with RF scanners and FedEx systems.

Ability to walk consistently from the warehouse to the drivers' dock.

Computer savvy with effective communication skills.

Work Environment

The position is based in a warehouse environment that includes handling chemicals. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and involves walking from the warehouse to the drivers' dock consistently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
