Position Summary The Master Electrician is primarily responsible for the correctness and quality of the company's electrical installations provided by the Master Electrician to utility customers. Services are targeted to the residential and light commercial markets and ensure all local operation requirements, trade code compliance, and company standards are adhered to. This position is responsible for performing the installation, removal, modification, inspection, and/or service of Direct Load Control (DLC) devices while exhibiting safe, courteous, and helpful behavior while maintaining compliance and company standards. The Master Electrician shall always renew all relevant certificates and licenses in Washington state as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all required safety protocols, documentation, permits, and inspection forms in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations prior to beginning any electrical work.

Develop a strong understanding of the program's strategic goals related to demand response and energy efficiency.

Promote demand response programs to customers and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professional appearance.

Install, inspect, modify, and service Demand Load Control (DLC) devices; assemble load control receivers for field installation.

Identify and resolve project application issues in collaboration with key stakeholders and trade allies.

Apply electrical and mechanical principles for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting including air conditioning systems.

Inspect installed energy devices and equipment to ensure compliance with building and electrical codes and safety standards.
