Supervised teams may be comprised of both VA and contract employees. In conjunction with, and under the guidance of the NCHCS HUD-VASH Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the professional and administrative management of the social work and interdisciplinary provided by the HUD-VASH staff. The HUD-VASH Program Supervisor also provides direct clinical services and consultation to the VA Medical Center and community partners as needed. The HUD-VASH Program Supervisor assists in planning, establishing, and implementing policies and procedures, developing individual or group goals and objectives as well as monitoring, operating, evaluating, coordinating, and overseeing the staff of the assigned programs. The incumbent assures the staff supervised are aware of and adhere to all current directives of VHA, and meet current Joint Commission standards, state licensure standards, and VA-OIG expectations, as well as CARF accreditation standards. In conjunction with the NCHCS HUD- VASH Program Manager, the incumbent will conduct ongoing intensive reviews and appraisals to ensure the accomplishment of objectives and adherence to standards set by governing bodies.
