Job Title: Dental Coordinator/Front DeskJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Coordinator to manage front desk operations. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient flow of patients, handling appointments, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy.

Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an organized appointment calendar.

Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and other confidential documentation.

Facilitate patient check-in and check-out process efficiently.

Provide accurate information to patients regarding services, policies, and procedures.

Collaborate with medical/dental staff to coordinate patient care and address inquiries.

Essential Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Experience in a dental setting.

Professional communication and customer service skills.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Ability to work onsite from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associates Degree or Business Institute Certificate.

At least two years of prior administrative, call center, or customer service experience.

Experience with administration of electronic medical records (EMR), preferably EPIC.

Exposure to or experience with medical terminology and provider billing practices.

Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Comfortable providing translation services in Spanish for patients and staff.

Work Environment

The role is based in Greenwich, with expected availability from 7:45 am to 5:30 pm. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The work environment is a professional dental clinic setting, requiring a polished demeanor and attire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stamford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
