Job Summary and Qualifications

Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Guided by our mission to care for and improve human life, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each patient's unique goals and capabilities. Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands-on treatment that supports recovery through every stage of healing. Your role will include:

You willdemonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span andpossessthe ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirementsrelativeto his/her age-specific needs.?

You willdemonstrateknowledge to assess and adjust care in coordination with the health care team acrossthe continuum

You will assess patients/familiesability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout hospitalization and in preparation for discharge

You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients What qualifications you will need:

State of?Tennessee?Occupational Therapist licenserequired

Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current
