Job Summary and Qualifications

The UItrasound Tech works in conjunction with the Chief Tech, Imaging Manager, Director and Medical Staff to improve the patient and work flow via providing support, education and leadership to the technical staff. Supports the mission and vision of the Medical Center of Arlington. Perform sonography/vascular procedures as outlined by the State of Texas and departmental protocols, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

(RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

(RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist, or Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
