Biopharmaceutics Development at Sanofi develops and implements manufacturing processes for biologics starting with an early and strong interface with Biologics Research. It encompasses cell line development, GMP cell banking, upstream- downstream and formulation development, assay development, GMP clinical biologics production for toxicological and clinical studies, release and stability testing (QC). Biopharmaceutics development drives identification, development & introduction of new state-of-the-art technologies, and provides launch capable processes and analytical methods at the interface to biologics manufacturing.
Within Biopharmaceutics Development Group in Framingham, the Bioprocessing Engineering (BPE) Laboratory Operations group is responsible for the support of Bioprocess Development and the technical pilot plant including medium/buffer supply, equipment maintenance coordination, materials inventory/supply management. The Technical Pilot Plant (TPP) group supports bioprocessing development with process scale production of Monoclonal Antibodies and Enzymes in preparation for Clinical production and investigations.
This individual will join a dynamic and motivated team to support early and late-stage development of biological products. The position will support the TPP-Lab Operations group focusing on Media and Buffer preparation.
The schedule is Monday-Friday (7:00-3:30PM) for an 8-hour shift.

Main Responsibilities:
This candidate will operate general manufacturing equipment in strict accordance with SOPs to complete tasks in support of the BioDev-CCD, BioDev-PD and BioDev-CMSC groups.
Operate manufacturing equipment in strict accordance with SOPs to complete tasks in support of BioProcessing operations.
Perform component weighing, batching of media and buffers, sterile filtration and aseptic techniques in a cGLP manufacturing facility.
Routine production of media and buffers at 50L - 2000L scale.
Perform CIP for formulation tanks. Perform the set-up of process equipment.
Operate complex systems and equipment in strict accordance with SOP's, and safety guidelines.
Maintains all associated documentation for operations being performed.
Accurately complete batch records and logs sheets.
Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment operation.
Troubleshoot processing problems.
Maintain good communications and collaboration with colleagues in other groups and departments.
He/she will ensure that the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance are maintained in the workplace and operate under the regulatory requirements for biologics product development and manufacturing.
All activities are closely supervised, and work is reviewed upon completion.
About You
Basic Qualifications
Associate's Degree required, preferably in the Scientific field with 1-3 years direct relevant experience in a GLP/cGMP environment.?
Biotechnology certificate and a minimum of 3 years biotech or pharmaceutical experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with cGMP/cGLP.
Should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Logical and critical thinking skills, as well as innovative problem solving.
Demonstrated ability to function in a matrix and collaborative/team-oriented environment.
The candidate should be self-motivated and have excellent organization, communication and
Computer software skills (Excel, Word, and Power Point).

The salary range for this position is:
$27.60 - $36.80
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
