As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.

Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels to identify and report irregularities or incidents within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during emergency response activities as required by site protocols.

Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and Allied Universal guidelines while carrying out assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
