Our client, a leading logistics and shipping organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant in Greencastle, IN to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Shipping Department supporting daily operational tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude..

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Greencastle, IN

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm w/ 30 min. lunch

What's the Job?

Enter shipment details, order information, and tracking data into company databases.

Pull and verify data from internal systems to support shipping operations.

Prepare and update shipping documents using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Ensure all records, documentation, and spreadsheets are accurate and current.

Communicate with shipping staff, warehouse personnel, or customer service as needed to resolve discrepancies.

What's Needed?

Ability to perform accurate data entry and pull data from multiple systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Strong administrative and data entry skills are preferred.
