Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

Handle billing activities, including generating invoices and monitoring payments.

Execute data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.

Review and process invoices efficiently to support daily operations.

Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage accounting functions.

Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.

Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Maintain organized documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. Requirements - Proficiency in account reconciliation techniques.

Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Strong skills in billing and invoice processing.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Adept at data entry with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
