Job Title: Medical TechnologistJob Description

As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the chemistry department by utilizing Roche machines for serum testing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a leading diagnostic laboratory with significant potential for growth and learning.

Responsibilities

Conduct serum testing in the chemistry department using Roche machines.

Ensure accurate and efficient laboratory testing in compliance with CLIA standards.

Collaborate with a team of five to maintain seamless overnight operations.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in life science, preferably a BS in chemistry or biology.

At least 1 year of experience in a CLIA Lab, with a focus on toxicology.

Experience with Roche 5598 machine or similar laboratory equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in any laboratory setting is beneficial.

Ability to work comfortably in an overnight shift.

Work Environment

This position operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Training will be provided for two weeks on the same schedule. Employees have access to a coffee bar for night shifts and a 24-hour quick check near the lab for breaks. The work environment is collaborative and offers great training, with opportunities for growth in various departments. Although this is a contract position, there is potential to transition to a permanent role, with new opportunities in the Toxicology line of business starting in April 2025.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holyoke, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.50 - $31.50/hr.
