Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication and assembly, is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Welder to join their team. As a 3rd Shift Welder, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: 3rd Shift Welder

Location: New Bern, NC

Pay Range: $17.00 (vary with experience)

Shift: Night Shift

What's the Job?

Perform setups on a wide variety of products and materials based on blueprints, verbal instructions, engineering direction, and customer specifications.

Weld, braze, assemble jigs, and perform related operations requiring individual problem-solving and ingenuity.

Read and interpret blueprints; perform MIG welding at ASW Certification level.

Inspect welded parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.

Maintain equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform minor repairs as needed.

What's Needed?

Proven experience in welding, brazing, and jig assembly.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Certification in MIG welding at ASW level or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
