The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Saint-Gobain team.
The Quality Technician/Dye Penetrant - Perform Level II Dye Penetrant Inspection on plastic parts by applying a fluorescent dye and developer, then after drying interpret surface discontinuities using a black light. Maintain inspection and process records. performs various inspection tasks using handheld measuring instruments and precision measurement equipment. Must be proficient at reading and interpreting drawings and specifications. Should also be familiar with sampling plans for inspection. The Quality Technician may support Receiving Inspection, Shipping Inspection, Final Inspection, Calibration, MRB, and Material Testing Laboratory. Some inspections may take place in a cleanroom environment either onsite or offsite.
GED/HS Diploma (required)
Must have 2 years Quality Technician/Inspection experience (required)
Must have an understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 QMS requirements a Preferred
2+ years in Manufacturing experience in aerospace, metal preferred.

This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $50,336 to $68,640 . Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.]
