Minimum Qualifications
Five years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 hours, which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Serves as liaison by corresponding with other Executives such as Undersecretary and Assistant Secretaries.
Performs duties independently and exercises a high degree of independent judgment in determining the most feasible approach/action to take in completing assignments.
Composes and @types of administrative memorandums, letters, and other correspondence regrading programs and policy and procedures.
Receives, greets and screens all incoming phone calls and visitors.
Schedules and coordinates meeting and conference calls while maintaining electronic calendar.
Prepares and assists with the development of meeting materials such as briefings, presentations, spreadsheets, agenda and handouts.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned for the smooth operation of the office.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
