Description

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in White Hall, Arkansas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels at managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. The salary range for this role is $55,000-$60,000, depending on experience, with strong opportunities to expand your skill set in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support business decisions.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.

Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting practices and workflows.

Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Manage fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Generate reports and provide insights to management for strategic planning.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounts payable processes and related systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.

Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
