As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access control points, and providing excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols for employees, visitors, and contractors at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter and identify any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, CCTV, and communication devices as required by site policies.

Remain alert and observant while on post to help to deter potential threats or security-related breaches within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
