A large manufacturing company is looking to bring on a Sr. Administrative Assistant to their team.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

· Perform a variety of clerical, administrative and organizational tasks

· Bookkeeping of District accounts

· Audit preparation and monthly bank reconciliations

· Assist with preparations for meetings and conferences

· Assist staff with airline and hotel reservations when requested

· Assist District Staff when needed

· Maintain files for contracts, grievances, etc.

· Order supplies for office and call for repairs on office equipment as well as maintain equipment as needed

· Handle incoming calls and e-mails

· Prepare and send large mailings

· Review and proofread various @types of documents

· Compose and properly format business correspondence

· Database entry and maintenance

· Occasional travel to support the district with meetings, conferences and events

· Other Administrative duties as directed

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

· College Associate's or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred

· 5+ years administrative office and bookkeeping experience

· Strong Union background preferred

· Highly detailed oriented, organized and professional

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multitask and prioritize time-sensitive responsibilities

· Capacity for careful attention to detail in all aspects of work

· Willing to work as part of a team, as well as independently

· Demonstrate a commitment to total quality of work under minimal supervision

· Proficient skills in Microsoft Office - certifications preferred

· Professional telephone etiquette

· Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information
