Administrative Assistant

JOB PURPOSE:

Provides comprehensive administrative support and performs general office duties to ensure efficient operations for the Director of Corporate Affairs and Facility Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrates sound judgement and effectively resolves problems.

Responds to calls/and or messages in a friendly and helpful manner and directs calls in an efficiently and timely.

Able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Performs administrative and spreadsheet tasks for tracking purposes via Excel

General office functions including (filing, copying, sorting mail, calculations, etc.) as requested by supervisor.

Able to assist executives in administrative functions.

Applies critical thinking to make informed decisions and solve complex issues.

Ability to work in a team environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Honor patients/residents' rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints.

Comply with corporate compliance program.

Follow established safety regulations, to include fire protection & prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.

Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.

Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

A minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field or two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A minimum of two (2) years' experience as an executive or administrative assistant supporting a member of the executive leadership team.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) Bachelor ' s degree in a related field highly preferred. Recent grads encouraged to apply.
