The Public Health Office Assistant provides overall support to the Rio Gr4ande County Public Health Agency. The Office Assistant duties include providing administrative support to the Director and Operations Manager, as well as programmatic support for general public health work.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures

Interacts with the public

Completes necessary forms for the office health services

Receives and accounts for all monies received through patient office appointments; prepares deposits for Operations Manager

Updates web page

Assists public health staff with programmatic duties

Participates appropriately in public health emergency, disaster preparedness, response, and recovery

Performs all other duties as assigned by Public Health Director and or Operations Manager

Qualifications:

Must be able to perform the above requirements satisfactorily

A high school diploma and/or GED required
