Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and materials management industry, is seeking a Warehouse Worker 1 to join their team. As a Warehouse Worker 1, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting material handling, inventory management, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Worker 1

Location: New Castle, DE

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 4PM

What's the Job?

Adhere to all safety and environmental requirements for storage and shipping of materials, including regulated HazMat.

Use computer applications and systems to maintain accurate material flow transactions.

Verify and maintain stock documents, perform cycle counts of all stockroom materials.

Unload, receive, verify, and count materials delivered to the warehouse.

Pack and ship materials back to vendors for repair or replacement, utilizing small hand tools and material handling equipment such as forklifts and hand jacks.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience in the railway industry or a related field preferred.

Ability to conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.

Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Previous forklift license, with certification provided upon onboarding.
