Job Title : Medical Assistant

Location : West Hills/Canoga Park, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description :

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for:

Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

Recording patient medical histories and vital signs.

Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.

Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.

Performing basic laboratory tests and collecting specimens.

Providing patient education and instructions for follow-up care.

Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality.

Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones and handling patient inquiries.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of a Medical Assistant program- diploma or certification

Previous experience in a primary care or clinical setting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canoga Park, CA 91304.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
