Shop Helper for Metals manufacturing shop - Day shift

Job Description:

Join our team as a Shop Helper where you will play a crucial role in supporting our welders by distributing or delivering products, holding materials in place, and ensuring a clean working environment. You will also be required to climb inside tanks to maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Assist with the distribution or delivery of products within the shop.

Support welders by holding materials in place during fabrication.

Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and cleaning work areas.

Climb inside tanks to ensure a clean working space for welders.

Essential Skills

Material handling - Moving tools and materials

Cleaning and sweeping

General labor

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Experience as a shop helper or welder helper

Experience as a general production worker or production associate

Knowledge of hand tools and crane operation

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
