Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a leader and mentor for the M&D IT development and support teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and collaboration
Oversee a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery, and manage staffing (recruitment, onboarding, training) to maintain appropriate team capacity
Direct the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for all in-house/customized applications, including roadmap development, sprint planning, defining coding standards and managing product quality
Oversee application support SLAs and incident management, guiding technical teams in complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implementing comprehensive monitoring/alerting
Manage the backlog (support, enhancements, projects), prioritize workloads for developers, assist with requirements gathering and consistently report progress to stakeholders
Own User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, production validation for all go-live events and coordinate system changes with other IT groups via the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
Act as the Customer Success Manager (CSM) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) between M&D IT and Operations, translating complex terminology and working with vendors for required enhancements
Define problem areas across teams/enterprise levels, recommend changes to increase productivity/quality/efficiency and develop reporting to monitor usage, accuracy and capacity utilization
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education & Experience:
BS/BA Degree required in IT Systems, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering
MS/MBA Degree preferred
Certification in improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, TQM, or PMP preferred
Minimum 2 years leadership experience
Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan Scale is preferred), JavaScript, .NET, Python or SQL
Skills and Qualifications:
Enthusiastic and dynamic presentation skills for training and demos to all levels of the enterprise
Ability to effectively troubleshoot system issues and resolve promptly with minimal direction
Ability to build strong relationships with various levels of employees and various departments
Proven communication and influence skills; the ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, mediate and integrate opinions into a cohesive strategy and present options/recommendations

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
