Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - UrologyJob Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in our clinical team, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based care to our patients. This position involves providing exceptional support to both clinicians and patients, with the ability to anticipate their needs.

Responsibilities

Monitor, document, and communicate patients' vital statistics and measurements.

Observe and note any physical or emotional changes in patients.

Prepare examination rooms for patient visits.

Select, prepare, and manage medical supplies and equipment.

Ensure the patient environment is comfortable, organized, safe, and hygienic.

Maintain accurate records of patient information.

Prepare patients for follow-up care post-treatment.

Guide and educate other LPNs as needed.

Serve as a knowledgeable resource on nursing-related issues.

Organize and manage scheduling for patients and necessary medical tests.

Essential Skills

Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-specialty medical settings.

LPN License in the state of New York.

Reliability and attendance.

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting.

Knowledge of patient demographics and patient information management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of LPN experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, non-exempt position within the Urology department. The primary location is in Poughkeepsie, NY, with occasional travel to Kingston and New Windsor locations. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or four 10-hour shifts per week with varying days off. The work environment is designed to support growth, with over 20 locations providing ample opportunity for advancement. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
