1ST SHIFT LIVESTOCK HANDLER/KILL FLOOR

Description

HOURS : 1ST SHIFT- flexible as needed or required;

Saturdays as needed or required

Responsibilities:

Direct live hogs from the trucks through the yards to the Kill Floor

Washing and cleaning required

Other duties as needed or required

Overall to identify any slow, stressed or injured Hogs

Qualifications :

Basic math skills

Good people skills

Self-motivated -- work well without direct supervision

Must be able to work with live hogs

Must be able to operate bobcat skid loader

Ability to follow instructions

Physically able to direct live hogs for an entire shift

Good work history and attendant

Resume required

REQUIRED : Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

Base hourly salary range: $18.50-$23.10
