Job Title: Shift Welder Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled welder to join our team, focusing on production-based welding primarily using mild steel. The role requires proficiency in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and willingness to engage in diverse welding tasks, including spot and robotic welding.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks on mild steel, following specific production requirements.

Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise welding operations.

Engage in spot and robotic welding as required.

Assist in fabrication tasks when necessary.

Participate in cross-training and learning opportunities across different departments.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 1 year experience in MIG welding.

Proficiency in reading welding blueprints.

Experience in fabrication and using a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with grinding.

Ability to adapt and learn new skills in different departments.

Work Environment

Join a large facility with 400 employees operating over three shifts. The standard working hours are 4am to 2pm from Monday to Thursday, 4am to 12pm every Friday, and 4am to 12pm every other Saturday. The work environment is dynamic and involves operating in diverse industries, including college and pro locker rooms, government, police stations, and more.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Atkinson, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

Growing rapidly as they diversify nicely into different industries: College and pro locker rooms, government, police stations, military, schools, grow industry. Growth opps to move up quickly into a Machine Op 2 that comes with a $1.50 raise Employee owned Direct placement Competitive benefits and insurance. 8 week training and a 90 day review Annual raises: 2-4% Goal sharing: monthly incentive based off of efficiency, delivery, safety and scrap. Can be up to an extra $1.80/hr Health Focus: We want our employees to be healthy and happy, which is why we contribute money into HSA/HRA accounts, and our dental plan is an 80/20 plan. We also have an on-site nurse for issues that arise at work, and offer Wellness Reimbursements on things like health club memberships, annual physicals, and dental cleanings. A lot of OT - can make a lot of money! 2nd shift premium is $3
