DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, your responsibilities will include coordinating promotional events for Fine Wine and Good Spirits, as well as providing operational support for both store and central office retail operations. You will lead the formulation of retail strategies, oversee performance analytics, and ensure the effective implementation of retail policies and procedures. Your role also includes advising the Director of Retail Operations on all aspects of retail management.
Collaborating across various operations to discuss store sales, productivity performance, and the prioritization and review of policies and processes. You will evaluate data, manage budgets, support central office initiatives, oversee task management, and establish productivity standards. Additionally, you will facilitate communication that directly affects field employees and operations, provide regional and district support, and research programs and legislation to formulate executive policy recommendations aimed at positioning the PLCB as a leader in the retail industry.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a State Liquor Store Administrator 2, or PLCB Retail Operations Manager 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Seven years of liquor store management/administrative experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes administrative or management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives in an organization of similar complexity. College education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years.

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
