We are hiring for 2 temporary full-time dining room floor supervisors.
03/31/2026 ?? 11/01/2026 in York Beach, ME. \$24.62 per hour. 35
hrs/week. Overtime may be available/not guaranteed at \$36.93. Employees
must complete company training (paid).
Job Description: Supervise a staff of up to 15 front of house staff
during peak season. May assist with greeting guests, seating guests,
responding to guest concerns or questions. Make schedules. Count deposit
daily and reconcile with point of sale system. Answer the phone and
respond to guest questions about the restaurant. Make reservations as
requested by the guest. Will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit,
push, pull, and able to move continuously during work hours. Some areas
of the restaurant are stairs access only. Must be able to lift and/or
carry up to 40 lbs. Hours may vary based on business needs. Requirements
may vary based on COVID cleanliness and sanitation requirements.
Shifts will vary based on business demands; open 7 days per week.
Typical work hours are 2pm ?? 10:00pm but may vary based on business
needs. Day or evening shifts may be necessary. Holidays and weekends are
required.
Education/experience: No educational experience is required. No work
experience is required.
Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages
due & workers will be paid weekly. Optional housing may be available ??
employer can assist in finding housing; if elected, weekly rate may vary
from \$85 - \$200 depending on @type & style. If the employee chooses to
utilize these services then they will be payroll deducted. If elected, a
housing deposit can be paid by deduction. Wage increases may be
available based on performance and/or past experience.
Employer will make all deductions from the worker??s paycheck required
by law. Employer will reimburse employee of all visa, visa processing,
border crossing, and other related fees, included those mandated by
government, incurred by the H-2B worker in the first work week. The
employer will pay for daily subsistence at least \$16.28 per day during
travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts. The employer will
provide the workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment
required to perform the job.
Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least ??s of the
workdays in each 12 week period of the total employment period. If the
worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will, in the
next pay cycle, reimburse the H-2B worker for transportation and
subsistence costs from the place from which the worker has come to work
for the employer to the place of employment, as required by 20 CFR
655.18(b)(12). Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker
is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker??s
reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or
to the place worker originally departed to work, except where the worker
will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The
amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the
most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances
involved. All transportation costs are to be pre-approved and receipts
must be submitted.
