Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a FNS Assistant to join our Food Services team. You would perform a variety of food services for the patients. You would also perform cleaning and dish room duties as well as other related cleaning tasks. You would join a team that cares like family and always works in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

Prepare various foods and beverages for patients.

Always prepare and portion foods following established guidelines, recipes, and production sheets.

Consistently cover, label, and date foods and stores them properly according to procedures.

Follow proper food handling techniques (gloves, handwashing, hair covering, no eating on the job, etc.)

Always prepare and set up food and supplies in sufficient quantity to cover service requirements. Restock as needed.

Always check daily menu needs and complete advance preparation for the next day.

Help to reduce cost by minimizing waste and over production.

Act in a cost conscious manner by utilizing leftovers appropriately.

Promptly report food shortages, outdated items or any products received in an unacceptable condition.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Some kitchen experience is desirable
