Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description

As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will support the production of HVAC and building-solution products through hands-on assembly, machine operation, and quality-focused tasks. Responsibilities

Assemble product components according to specifications and work instructions.

Measure using a tape measure in the metric system.

Use a micrometer to ensure correct product diameter.

Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.

Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support safety and productivity.

Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.

Essential Skills

Ability to read a tape measure.

Attention to detail.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.

Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Manufacturing experience is not required.

Strong mechanical aptitude or experience in construction, building maintenance, or automotive maintenance.

Attention to detail for quality inspection and accurate assembly.

Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or machinery.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.

Work Environment

Fast-paced production setting with daily output goals. Hands-on work with plastic components or HVAC-related products. The facility offers a clean and organized environment with a focus on safety. Shift times include A-Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, and C-Shift Overnight, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, with a 3/4 rotation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterford, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr.
