Job Description

This position is responsible for verifying the quality of parts through visual inspection, dimensional verification, and/or electrical testing according to documented criteria. The role involves removing parts from sheets and packaging them for shipment.

Responsibilities

Read and follow instructions on a traveler and other company documentation to correctly complete required tasks.

Correctly fill out company documentation to accurately record manufacturing lot information, measurements, etc.

Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques to correctly process parts.

Inspect parts using a microscope to determine conformance with company and customer inspection criteria.

Remove parts from a sheet using scissors or clippers depending on the part.

Use drop gauges and hand-held micrometers to measure material thickness.

Utilize various electrical test equipment to verify the circuit's continuity and isolation.

Understand the different sections of a flex circuit and the fundamentals of how a circuit works.

Identify and make recommendations for inspection improvement opportunities to help lower part costs and streamline processing through the inspection department and the plant.

Essential Skills

Experience in inspection, quality inspection, visual inspection.

Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and quality control techniques.

Ability to perform quality assurance and quality checks.

Knowledge of production processes and blueprint reading.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.90 - $18.90/hr.
