FREIGHT CLERK - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, MN & WILLMAR, MN)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The person in this position:

Processes, audits, validates, and voucher for payment of all bills and expenses resulting from the transportation, warehousing, drayage and cartage of product to and from all facilities used by Hormel.

Inputs and maintains accurate database entries in applications software for the payment process including Order Processing Load Status, Manugistics, and Oracle.

Assists in miscellaneous related activities such as handling documents and information regarding freight and warehouse bills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

High school education or the equivalent.

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience with personal computers and word processing.

Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

Ability to accurately enter data at the rate of 6,000 kph.

Ability to use custom computer programs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to initiate appropriate action independently.

Demonstrated organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize work.

Preferred

Previous Blue Yonder Experience.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $17.25-$24.00 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
