The UW Health Breast Center treats over 700 new breast cancer patients yearly and is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. Breast imaging radiologists work side by side with an excellent, collaborative team of breast surgeons in the Breast Center. Multidisciplinary tumor board and radiology-pathology correlation conferences occur weekly. A new state-of-the-art outpatient clinic with integrated breast imaging and breast clinical care is opened in the fall of 2024, expanding our multi-disciplinary practice. The breast imaging section in the UW Department of Radiology trains three to four breast imaging fellows and many residents on an annual basis. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years. Applicants who are interested in pursuing an academic career in the Breast Imaging and Intervention section will be considered for the titles Clinical Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Professor (CHS), Associate Professor (CHS) or Assistant Professor (CHS).
