Job Title: Construction General Laborer

*Location: Lynnville, Iowa

*Job Type: Full-time / Monday - Friday from 7am - 5pm

*Pay Range: $18-20/hour to start (Increase to mid 20's after a year in)

Job Description: Join our team to assist with pole barn construction and steel frame building projects. Support demolition work, including site preparation and cleanup. Operate basic hand tools and power tools, with training provided. Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures, working under the direction of supervisors and experienced crew members. Maintain a clean and organized worksite. This role is ideal for someone wanting to start or expand their career in the construction field.

*Responsibilities:

Assist in pole barn and steel frame building projects.

Support site preparation and cleanup for demolition work.

Operate basic hand tools and power tools.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Work under the direction of supervisors and experienced crew members.

Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

*Essential Skills:

Experience with general labor in construction.

Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.

Familiarity with tape measure use.

Understanding of construction processes, including steel and pole barn construction.

Capability in carpentry.

*Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Reliability and punctuality.

Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labor outdoors.

Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Able to pass a standard 7 year back ground check

*Work Environment: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed. The role involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Will be working with a crew of 4-5, with a foreman running sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
