Warehouse Worker

Miramar

1st Shift

$19.50/hr

Responsibilities

Package finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.

Pick orders from paper sheets to ensure products are correctly assembled and ready for shipment.

Load finished products onto trucks, including items like rice, flour, cups, and packages.

Unload products from trucks or containers and stock them in designated areas.

Ensure quality control by preventing damaged products from being sent out or stored.

Operate within standard operating procedures.

Manage inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.

Prepare customers' orders for delivery.

Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

Experience working in a warehouse

Ability to work in different temperature-controlled departments, including a freezer, deli refrigerator, and room temperature, is essential.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on feet all day.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions correctly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is highly preferred but not required

Attendance is crucial; call-outs need to be 48 hours in advance to ensure coverage.

Workers are required to rotate working in the freezer for one week per month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
