Purpose of Role

This role has big-time impact! Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Distribution House. Performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials Responsible for manual tasks associated with the processing of orders. Responsible for manual and computerized tasks associated with the processing of orders.

Your Impact

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop

Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

Retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks

Assists with the development of efficient space planning for storage areas. Utilizes hand-held computers to receive daily tasks

Picking, pulling, and packaging of orders

Processing and shipping of orders

Consistently at work and on time

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma (or GED), or equivalent years of experience.

6 months warehouse experience preferred

Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Sparrows Point, MD facility.

Base Compensation

$17.50-$20.60 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
