?? About the Role

As a Purchasing Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining operational systems and supporting purchasing functions for multiple divisions. From managing take-offs and budgets to collaborating with vendors and internal teams, your work will directly impact the success of our homebuilding projects.

?? What You'll Do

Maintain and update plan and option take-offs for assigned divisions.

Create accurate budgets aligned with projected start dates.

Prepare and distribute weekly start packages for field and office teams.

Collaborate with estimating and purchasing teams to resolve budget discrepancies.

Manage supplier/trade partner pricing using Excel and JDE.

Generate cost reports and troubleshoot purchase order issues.

Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.

? What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or higher a plus!)

2+ years of office experience, preferably in purchasing or construction.

Strong Excel and Word skills; JDE experience is a bonus.

Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

A numbers-driven mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
