Summary About the Position: The incumbent will be responsible for the comprehensive budget formulation and execution tasks related to fiscal planning, programming, budgeting, and managing the execution of responsibilities for assigned programs and mission areas. Responsibilities Incumbent reviews, interprets, and implements Department of Defense (DOD), United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), budget guidance as applicable. Incumbent presents, defends, and justifies budgets to the Supervisor/Team Leader for approval and inclusion. Incumbent prepares budget schedules and other statistical and narrative documentation needed to facilitate Command budget preparation. Incumbent monitors and evaluates budget execution for assigned programs. Implements corrective courses of action. Researches best course of action.
